Stress is experienced when an imbalance is perceived between what is required of the person and the resources available to meet those requirements.
Although stress is perceived psychologically, it can also affect physical health.
Stress results from a mismatch between our work and we, of poor quality relationships, manifestations of physical or psychological violence in the workplace and conflict between our role in the workplace and outside it.
