Before starting we could give a first definition of the stress, it’s a response of the organization to the physiological and psychological factors of aggression as the emotions (pleasant or unpleasant). This one requires an adaptation. More precisely, a definition of the stress at work is an imbalance between the perception which you have of the constraints that imposes to you, your environment and your perception that you have of your resources.
Today, a new phenomenon is in the center of the concerns in a lot of companies: stress at work. It appears as one of the main risks that the companies must square up.Then, one European employee on five suffer from disorders of health related to the stress at work. So, it’s possible to prevent stress at work by differents means.
The entire industry sector and all the professional categories are touched. Until today, completely nobody was aware of that thing; this new phenomenon upsets the organization of the companies by affecting their performances and involves many consequences on the workers.
It is necessary to be serious with this problem because it’s always a taboo for many companies which are unaware of it or try to avoid it instead of trying to control it.
I choose to study this subject for two reasons (professional and personal), on the one hand because I carried out a training course this summer. My main mission was the organization of a fashion show for the unveiling of the city of lace and the mode in Calais. Moreover, during this internship I was really confronted to the stress. Indeed, the organization of such an event is something which involves much pressure and stress in a company.
