During these two years of study, I conducted two trainings.

The training of first year spent at the Lycée International of Los Angeles in the marketing department for a period of six weeks. I participated in creating new ads to promote the school, they were published in newspapers in the city of Los Angeles and California magazines. I created a new brochure for the school because a day was organized for parents and students. . It was important that families leave school with documentation of the school. This brochure presents not only the school, its academic program, but extracurricular activities proposed. To celebrate the end of the school year, the school organizes a party for his students. The director of communication taught me to organize an event: Send invitations, manage the budget, find a place, have sponsors, welcome guests...

It’s necessary to be effective, dynamic, before, during and after the event. During this training, I visited several studios, for example: Disney, Mattel, Universal Studio...I discovered the profession of graphic designer. I really liked because I discovered before anyone else, the future films. I am glad this training because I think taht I improved my English and my Spanish, because in this international school the staff speaks several languages.

My training of second year spent in a communications agency that publishes a magazine on the habitat. My first task was to look for advertisers who want to appear in this magazine, I had to sell ads. My second job was to participate in illustration and writing of the magazine through specialized software.. The graphic designer taught me how to use Photoshop, it’s a photo editing program, for example, remove red eye, adjust saturation, the light on certain areas of the photo, zoom, change colors ... I think that to work in the communication, it’s necessary to know how to use this software, because some advertisers ask us to create logos, brochures, posters ... For example, a customer asked me a timetable for an association. An electrician asked me to create a business card. A municipality wanted plans for his city. The needs of our customers are very different and we must learn to adapt quickly.

I think that my two training have been rewarding professionally and personally. This allows us to really discover the world of work, and learn about communication professions. These two training allowed me to orient myself because now I know in what specialty I want to continue my studies.

Pendant ces deux années d'études, j'ai effectué deux stages.

La stage de première année s’est passé au Lycée international de Los Angeles dans le service marketing pour une période de six semaines. J'ai participé à l'identification et la création de nouvelles annonces pour promouvoir l'école, elles ont été publiées dans les journaux de la ville de Los Angeles et dans des magazines californiens. J'ai aussi créé une nouvelle brochure pour l'école parce qu'une journée a été organisée pour les parents et les élèves. Il était important que les familles quittent l'école avec la documentation de l'école. Cette brochure présente non seulement l'école, son programme académique, mais les activités extrascolaires proposées. Pour fêter la fin de l'année scolaire, l'école organise pour ses étudiants une fête. Le directeur de la communication m'a appris à organiser un événement: Envoyer les invitations, gérer le budget, trouver un endroit, avoir des sponsors, accueillir les invités...
