Economic factors: Singapore is an Asian economic “Tiger”, it is an important economic in the South East of Asia, it has for example, the highest income per-capita in ASEAN. Because of the very small size of the country (only 710,2 km2), the country suffers from a small domestic market and a lack of resources, that’s why the country has to open their boundaries very soon. The government have set up in 1965, a policy based on the development of business, a strong export and import economic policy framework for merchandising but also investment and finally a strategy of nationalisation of corporation (in particular in the service sector). We can say that the government strategy have lead to a success because Singapore register an average economic growth of 7,8% from the begging of this policy to nowadays.Plan
